The Viking Club is an extensive members-only fitness and leisure facility of Radisson Blu Hotel, Kuwait. Whether you're looking for a place to help you get in shape or to just escape everything and enjoy some well-deserved relax time, Viking Club is here for you.

 

The fully equipped gym provides top cardio machines, free weights, circuit and stretching area for the perfect exercise routine. The Cross-Fit Box located at the seafront area gives you a chance to take your workout outside. Our experienced trainers can prepare a personalized training program cut out to your needs. The Club's Sky Fitness with four group exercise studios hosts various classes such as Zumba, yoga, high impact, cross-training, and martial arts.

 

The little ones can embark on a fun journey at our Kids Club, take their play outside to the kid's playground, or join some of our classes designed for the entertainment of the Viking Club's little members. So you can relax in our indoor spa-pool, sauna or steam or bathe in the sun by one of our two outdoor pools.

PT studio

The newly opened Sky Fitness features 5 new studios which are tailored to its individual purposes: yoga, aerobics, PT, dojo and table tennis. The studios host various classes that cater to the needs of our members. Detailed schedule is available at the Schedules Section.

Gym

The gym provides top cardio machines, free weights and circuit and stretching area for the perfect exercise routine. Feel free to inquire about our motivating personal trainers for a workout cut out to your needs. The gym extends to a brand new Gym Studio that hosts several classes including TRX with required equipment.

CrossFit Box

CrossFit Box is equipped with all you need for a cross-training. Its seafront location gives you a perfect opportunity to take your intense workout outside.

Squash Courts

Two squash courts fully equipped. Rackets available for rent at the reception.

Table Tennis

There are two rooms for table tennis, in the Club's lobby and sky fitness. Bats are provided in the reception.

Running Track

A 285m full lap of walking and running track around the beachfront area of the club, ideal for warm-up or leisure walk.
Its perimeters are equipped with stationary pull-up, two level horizontal bars, plyometric steps, horizontal ladder and parallel bars.
The track also caters to fishing lovers located on the seafront area facing the open sea. Staircases provide an easy access to the sea and public beach.

Beach Volleyball

Standard volleyball court located on the seafront area overlooking the Arabian Gulf.

Basketball Half Court

Basketball half court in line with international standard.

Pool Bar

Refresh yourself with cold or hot drinks from our Pool Bar. You can also choose from selection of sandwiches, healthy delicacies and other favorites.
Opens daily from 8 AM till 9 PM.

Pools

MAIN FAMILY POOL: Offers 30 meters lap pool line, 1 meter on shallow part to 2.5 meters in depth.
KIDS POOL: Shaded pool with 0.5 meter in depth, perfectly safe for children's fun and entertainment.
AZUR POOL: A two level pool that provides infinity feel with 1.5 meters in depth. Exclusively for the use of adults only. Elevated above the sea, it offers a heaven of relaxation with the breathtaking view of the serene sea and panoramic landscape of the beach.
INDOOR POOL: Characterized as the "Spa Pool" equipped with jets hydro massage. Depth is 1.4 meters. The indoor pool is an ideal venue to relaxation.
All our pools are temperature controlled.

Kid's Playground

The outdoor playground suits the children of age from 3 to 10 where they can find swings, slides, seesaw, springers and carousel. All under the shade. It's the perfect opportunity to find new friends among the other kids and have some fun.

Kid's Club

In the club, kids can embark on a journey in a maze with slide, nets and trampoline, have a race in small driving cars and tricycles or play with the toys available at the club. Once they're tired from running around, they can just chill-out in the comfort of bean bags while watching TV or test their creativity with coloring and drawing. Kids under the age of 3 can also join the Kids Club under the supervision of a personal caretaker.

IVAN TZENKOV

Director of Recreations

Ivan Tzenkov from Bulgaria earned his Master's Degree in Psychology specialized in Physiotherapy with focus on injury rehabilitation. Ivan has been involved in fitness industry during the past twenty five years and has established the Viking Club of Radisson Blu Hotel in 2002. Ivan practices the disciplines of Kendo and Iaido.

BAKTYGUL KADYRALIEVA

Assistant Recreation Manager

Baktygul is from Kyrgyzstan. She has four years experience in recreation at 5 star hotels in Kuwait. Guest satisfaction is her aim.

ALEXEI BOUNIAEV

Personal Trainer

Alex graduated with degree in Physical Education. Alex also teaches football, swimming, basketball, tennis and gymnastics.

IRYNA ROMANCHENKO

Group and Personal Trainer

Iryna earned her degree in Physical Education in Ukraine and is certified gym instructor. Iryna specializes in gymnastics for adults and children, pilates, stretching and power class.

ARMANDO MANSAKU

Personal Trainer

Armando is an Elite Trainer certified by the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) where he gained the following specializations: Fitness trainer, Nutrition specialist, Strength and Conditioning, Bodybuilding specialist, and Group fitness specialist. Armando also specializes in general fitness, fat loss, and bodybuilding. He is also certified in CPR and first aid.

DIAN RUSDIANA

Massage Therapist

Dian is certified spa massage therapist from Bali, Indonesia.

She had worked in different spas in Indonesia, Turkey as well as in Kuwait.

Oleksandr Stepanenko

Personal Trainer

Oleksandr graduated in Ukraine with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education.

His specialty is health-improving physical culture and improving the functionality of the body.

MARIJA ERIC

Marija possesses over a decade of expertise in leading both group and individual fitness sessions. In addition to being an IFBB competitor in figure fitness, she is also a skilled professional in Latino dancing. Her areas of specialization include enhancing strength, mobility, and flexibility.
